Tutorial

Converting Music:

1. First download the mp3 or whatever format the audio is in and drag it into iTunes. Go into preferences in iTunes and select import settings:

2.  Select these settings for import settings

and when you select Custom you want to make the settings match these:

3. Now save the settings and select all the mp3's you would like to convert and right click and select "Create AAC Version" (Note: After you change the import settings from now on all you have to do is start from step 3)

4. After you have done this delete the mp3 versions and tag all the m4a versions to match tracklists, genres, artwork, artists and any other info. After doing so create a folder somewhere on your computer and copy and paste the music into that folder and delete it from iTunes.

Adding Explicit Logo & Other Stuff:

For Windows Users it is pretty simple, you just want to download mp3tag directly from here: http://www.mp3tag.de/en/download.html

For Mac Users you want to go here: http://www.mp3tag.de/en/mac-osx.html and depending on whether you have the app wine downloaded (which most of you won't) you either download the first one if you already have the wine app downloaded or the second link which includes the wine app which will allow you to run mp3tag

So after downloading mp3tag continuing on:

5. Open up mp3tag and after it has opened go back to the folder where you placed the music in, and drag it into mp3tag.

Adding Explicit Logo:

6. Once you have dragged the files in to mp3tag you want to select them all and right click and click on extend tags and you should see this:

7. Now you want to click on the button with the yellow star kind of in the middle and type in ITUNESADVISORY in the field and type 1 in for the value (if it is clean then you type in 2 for the value).

Optional: If you would like to add a copyright you click on the yellow star button in the middle again and type in COPYRIGHT for the field and for the value i usually just find something on the artists itunes that was released relatively close to the year on the mixtape/single/album and copy and paste it in. For mac users i have noticed that you need to right click and paste it manually because for some reason command + v doesnt work.

8. After doing so you hit okay and it will save the tags you just added. Then go to the top left of the screen click on file and then click export. You then want to hit ok

and then it will ask if you want to display the export file now you want to select no

9. Now you close out mp3tag and go back to the folder you have the music in and drag it back into itunes and enjoy :)
